This is some great modeling. I really like your approach on the chassis. if they are all the same then there is no "performance" issues to worry about. Setting the drive line up straight and true makes a smooth operator as you just proved.

That car is coming out fantastic..

Great choice on moving the motor up front to have the deeper cockpit.

Until this past year I had no idea the driveshaft ran right through the cockpit on these old Indy cars..

One of my kids got some seat time in this Chrysler powered car at the vintage races last September and
I was very surprised to see the driver actually straddles the driveshaft.. If you look close under the steering
wheel on the floor you can see the tailshaft to the transmission there in plain sight.. Just crazy LOL..

We used Dzuz fastenbers on the P-51 Mustang. We replaced the 50 cal. ammo boxes and trays in the wings with aluminum boxes to fill the space, and put briefcases in them. The access panel was the same, but we used Dzuz to eliminate even the tiniest bit of turbulence. MAC tools sold a Dzuz tool (it isn't a screwdriver, its a kind of spatula looking thing with a round bottom), and I made belt scabbards for the Dzuz tools for all of us from leather plumb bob holsters used in civil engineering. It was cool walking around Oshkosh with that thing on our hips and P-51 on our coveralls. We were such adult children with big toys.
