SCC adjustable front axle blocks

What is the best glue I can use to attach SCC's adjustable front axle blocks? Is it JB Weld, Shoe Goo, ICC 2000 tire glue, regular super glue, or something else. Thanks.

I used JB Weld on my Fly Truck.......Sho goo may work if you want to reuse them on a different build

We mainly use superglue. I use the thin glue to set them, then use the thicker gap filling glue to secure them.

Thanks Dickie. I have some Poly Zap. Wonder ow that would hold. My real reason for asking was I tried to glue the pod to main chassis plate on Fly classic with JB Weld and it didn't hold. I washed both pieces and scuffed them with 240 grit. Let it dry 36 hours to be shure. BTW, this was the new stuff ( regular, not 5 min ). Seems i've read others complaining the new batch isn't as good.

Because of Dickies suggestion of using super glue, i decided to experiment. Poly Zap isa super glue recommended for lexan, delrin, nylon, polycarbonate, and rubber. Found a broken chassis and sacrificed an SCC axle block to science. Cleaned both pieces and sanded them with 240. applied one drop of glue to block only. Let it dry about 5 min then tried to brake it off. It broke all right...the chassis. The block stayed connected to the chassis. I think I found some awesome glue for this.

The no-bloom superglues are the best. They won't leave that white stuff nearby, which is redeposited glue. SCC sells excellent non-blooming cyanoacrylates, thin and thick viscosities: SuperGold and SuperGold Plus.

We have had a few of the axle blocks come off when a car took a hit. That can ruin your evening if it happens during a race. I would not recommend using Shoe Goo or anything similar. I use a slow setting epoxy because those tend to be the strongest. First I use a small amount to tack the blocks in place, when that has set I add more to be sure that the joints will hold up in a crash.
