I had been using a Ninco (80201) pinion press and puller, primarily because it's a cheap all-in-one tool. It lasted about a year, and today both the puller and presser went wonky. Pinions are now getting stuck on the puller, forcing me to pry them off with a flat-head screwdriver. The presser began getting tight this morning, then it finally completely seized up after pressing pinions on two motors. I can't get it to move a lick.
So, that means that I am once more the market for a good puller and presser. The Ninco one would probably work great if all I used were plastic pinions, but I almost exclusively use Slot.it's now. Is the Slot.it puller/presser worth the money? It's not cheap, but having now gone through one of these things dying on me, I want something that will last. Are there other options out there that you folks swear by? Thanks in advance for the help.
