I have never had black lay down so well(Testors Acryl gloss black)!

Black is always a difficult colour to deal with. No other colour amplifies every tiny flaw in quite the same way black does.
I hope it continues to go well. A black car drinking in light and offering a myriad of tiny reflections is indeed a thing of beauty.
