ShotgunDave,
Sir the track just looks so dang good!
I am quickly becoming a fan of small home tracks with a total of 360 degrees of turns in them.
At present I am planning "The Florida Triangle" which will be a Pocono-like 3 turn track (There is NO Turn4!) type of set up.
It's gonna be small in size as size does not matter with these types of tracks. The amount of FUN comes from the sum of the folks that will be racing.
My parameters will be 3 lanes, 3 7/8 lane spacing (the "trammel" I was lent to build it is set up for that) and one of the turns will be 90 degrees. At present I am thinking a 6 x 12 layout with one end being but 42 inches wide is the way it will turn out. My "Olde Mathe Booke" sez . . . . . A=6, B=12, C=13.46, Angle A=90, Angle B= 63.4 and Angle C=26.6. Sounding like a fun track.
More to follow.
I think I read you are using Hobby Lobby copper tape as well? I like your idea of running the tape down to the underside and soldering on the power wire there. Makes a much better joint. Great minds do think alike!
