I'm loving Shotgun Dave's painting technique

I've finally got around to picking up a cheap harbor freight airbrush and trying out Shotgun Dave's painting 101. It was extremely easy and if I messed up the touch up was effortless. I had a near disaster when spraying the clear because I had my can of primer sitting right next to the can of clear. Needless to say I misted the whole car with white primer but I think it gave it a nice frosty blue look. Anyway here is the pics of the painted body and thanks go to shotgun for the great tutorial.

The Jag looks great in baby blue. Looks like a nice crisp cast too. Can't get enough XK120s in my book.

The body needed some filling here and there but I didn't do it since this was only a test subject.

Looks great Chris! I really need to do this too its just too hard to give up the spray can.. :)

It is hard to give up the spray can, but after doing this one I can't see going back to them. This is so easy and the color options are endless.
