Your paint schemes look great! I went to a local 1/4 mile oval in the early 70's to watch midgets run. I used to see quite a variety of color, body variations, & different motors. The owner of the club track where I now race slot cars has built a resin bodied midget, I think an SRP but I'm not sure. We don't currently have enough racers with these cars to race them.

Bill,you should get the get the boys to start building some of these! they are an absolute blast to drive,My son in law and I put over 500 laps on these today,just having a riot! they are small to work on,but very satisfying once completed
total cost to build one of these is amazingly low,i figure about $20 all said and done.

SRP body $10
radio shack $4.99
1/2 stick k&S 5/32 brass square tube $1.00
1/4 stick 3/32 brass tube .50
1/43 artin chassis e-bay (new) $3.00 used for axles,gears,guide pin
paper clips for bumpers?
solder?
