I had the same surgery in 2009 !
Now...(I don't want to tell you this)...I am having the same issues again !! It's ALWAYS my left hand.
My surgeon said another surgery will be required eventually. I have a plate and 6 screws inserted into my spine.
Where my spine was fused, the disc below is being crushed.
But.....I can still race my cars !

Seeing a satisfied customer is ALWAYS a good thing!

ModlerBob was a very happy camper with his "Hybrid Chassis". He said the Kremer Porsche is now faster then it was with an HRS2 chassis under it. To me that is great news. Now that the car has a set of BBS inserts in it, it looks as good as it runs.

I know I sound like a broken record, but when you build it yourself, you get exactly what you want in a slot car.

An example of that concept is my latest car, a Fly Dodge Viper. We found the cars for sale and bought the pair. ModlerBob got the Corvette C6R and I the Dodge Viper GTS-R. When we put them on the track, they simply did not impress either f us. But now with HRS-2 chassis and Slot.It orange end bell motors, they are a joy to drive.

Try it, you will like it! Scratchbuilding that is.
