Yep, the Bentley's had the blower mounted out the front. I assume it must have run directly off the crankshaft. I suppose the MG must have been the same?

Working on this 1/24 answer to the Carrera 917 menace. Still got to do the interior and lights, but it will be mixing it up in this Thursday's digital racing.

The decals needed a modification to fit over the rear flares, and the tires are about as close to rubbing as possible. I am hoping this car can keep the pace.

Been slowly working on a Datsun 240Z with a brass scratch built chassis. Life has got me pulled in to many other directions this past winter to have time to play slot cars. Had to work several part time jobs to pay for L.P. gas this winter. Things should be getting back to normal here shortly.

I have stacks of parts, but it's very difficult to find time to build them. I can't wait to retire...around 2050

Now that we have nice weather, I have been doing yard work and house work. Also working on the 1/1 vehicles and side work on other peoples cars.I did get time to take some pictures of some older builds that I will be posting.

Always loved these big Scalex XJ-220's even though they were pretty ordinary as slot cars when released. Finished them up over the Easter break. Tuned the chassis, added a bit of weight under the back axle (not too much as they are heavy suckers anyway), lowered them to look a bit more racey, made the wings, rattle can paint and Pattos decals. Not as good as a lot of the stuff posted but I'm happy racing them as they pound around mid field :lol: Chris.

And just as good as anything else. In fact taking an older model like this and tuning it up is modeling to me. You made your own wings and transformed an otherwise "ordinary" model into a fleet of racers you can enjoy.
