Way Cool Dave!

I can't wait to see the paint scheme you come up with!

Here are a few of mine I'm working on for inspiration.

That's looking really good. I love the bomber/ street stock cars, they're a blast to race.

I got a bargain on five of them (a guy with a golf cart parts business had them for $15 each, NIB), then again on two more, and have been using the chassis for all kinds of stuff. I repainted two of them and race tuned one in Scaley's livery. The rest of the bodies are still in the parts box. I never thought about doing a bomber version, but it sure fits the bill, doesn't it? Funny about that car, it shouldn't handle the way it does at all, being long and relatively narrow with a heavy body, but right from the box that ugly thing runs great. I always thought that was the ugliest version of the Torino Ford ever did, and the sales agreed with me, but I forgot all about it when I ran a Truxmore for the first time. I wish I could find another stash of them to get cheap.

Are you going to go all out on this paint job, Dave? You sure can do it, that's for sure.

Great idea!!

I too have a ton of those bodies sitting around, and never dawned on me to create them into this.

Look forward to seeing how they get all fancied up with paint!!

Hmmm. Purple & Gold, eh? Is it too early for me to do an LSU Football Torino Bomber? It would look pretty spiffy running with that rascal, Dave. Nice job.
