The 356 arrived today! It looks better in the flesh than it did in the pics!

Again, thanks for the terrific job on this car and for all the little details that add up to a very special gift. I'm sure that Marty is going to love this car as much as we all do on this forum.

Well Jeremy, it was a huge hit!

She couldn't get over the color and the details; including, in particular, the license plate. She calls her 1:1 car "buttercup" anyway, so having it there on the model made it very special.

Now she has her own slot car, and.............we're going to run them; the 356 and the MGA next week at our local slot car shop.

Thanks again for all of the work that you put into this car. She marveled at how anyone could put such detail into a model, and so do I.

I am pretty sure that Jeremy was referring to 91% Isopropyl alcohol - that is what I have been using since learning about it here on the boards and it works better than anything I had tried previously!
