G'day Guys,

My wife had her first go at doing bare metal foil last night, I think she did ok :)














It seems this Drag slot car racing is turning into a bit of a team effort, lots of projects in play, I'll post some more pictures soon.....

Ted, she has taken to this like a duck to water!

I'm stunned, didnt expect these results, I know Im useless at this stuff, sure makes my life easier :)

My wife just went up to the post office and got a box of finishing products from the Sand Paper man in Australia, I dont think she will be taking prisoners with this painting thing....

Next project is a Pro-Mod Fiat 500 (modern version), will be a collaborative effort between Pete Richards, my wife and myself, should be a bit different :P

OK, the Monte Carlo is finished!

















As mentioned in the thread, there are some small issues with the car (mostly my bodgey preparation!), but for a first effort I think the Captain excelled!

This car is destined for a life of bracket racing in Nomad Raceway and Hobbies Show and Go class (1.400 breakout index), so it wont be a shelf queen :)

The "Captain" Ted :) We have a General on the forum, so Captain fits into the matriarchal hierarchy pretty well :P
