I have to say, I have always sprayed right out in the open in my woodshop (when there wasn't a lot of dust in the air). But these spray booth arrangements are tempting. I haven't had many times when I couldn't spray paint for the dust, but maybe I ought to look into this.

After all these years, I got a resin body recently that had mold release so soaked into the resin that I had to go through a lot of nonsense and Bleche-White to get it right. I have to say, that hasn't happened with an RMS body ever, David.

I've used the same stuff for years with almost no complaints unless people forget to clean it first.

Figured I should get on the HRW inspired spray booth band wagon. Need to start painting some Porsche 911's… I made mine a little different and used card stock for the sides. when it gets all dark and colored up, just swap out for new white stuff.

Dont forget your light, I got a 150W bulb in mine and its like a warming oven, gets that paint dry fast

Yes, plan to install some spot 12v halogens on a separate plug. Licensed electrician is spending the day tomorrow wiring up my hobby shop with T3 lights and GCFI outlets proper. So, the 12v halogens I'm using now will go into the booth :dance:

Finally! I started to paint the 1968 Porsche 911 T.Adamowicz project wahoo! :banana-dance:

I hate to spend money on things, so I crafted my turntable out of 2x4, the plywood hole I cut for the fan, some 1/4" oak ply and an old Tamiya 1/10 scale RC Porsche 911GT3 car plastic hub, complete with teflon bushings, stub axle and wheel nut. Used bendable romex wire for the stand.
