That is a great build!!!

The colors and the hubcap detailing have such a big impact on this!!!

I am going to have to check out this body as well.

Just one of those "just feels right" body styles!!!

Oh, that looks great. Lovely finish. And like everyone else I NEED THOSE WHEELS.

Can someone please make some resin copies.

May not be the right thread to ask this, but there seems to be a lot of Mopar crazies in this thread!

Question: What year(s?) was the Charger offered with the 440 "Six Pack" and 4 speed with pistol grip shifter? Had a friend that purchased one new... and I'm trying to pin down the year. Thanks!

I would have to say 1970 if you're talking gen.2 (68-70).

Ming, the pistol grip shifters were not consistent. The dealers had as much to do with which cars had them as anything, given that they were only for the hottest cars. My buddy had one on his Barracuda 340 SE, another guy didn't want anything but a round ball on his Challenger, and he got it just that way without paying anything extra. Another guy thought he would get one on his Dodge SuperBee with a 440 six pack, but he got the round ball, too. I've seen GTXs with either shifter, same equipment under the hood. The big old snaky looking shift lever came up vertical at the pistol grip which was a little awkward. Most folks grabbed the top of the pistol grip and used it like a knob.

Thanks guys. Yes, it would have had to have been either '69 or '70. Did the body style change for '71?
