A tragedy. At least it wasn't that extra special superior cute pickup.

Fantastic!

Just loved seeing the little Mini burning up the track last night! And for those of you that could not be there: when Dan talks about "bigger cars", he means BIGGER CARS! I actually asked him and one of the other racers to stop side by side for comparison purposes at one point: this teeny little Mini next to a hulking huge Scaley modern Camaro. It really looked like two different scales!

I was also the one to have to pick up the poor little Mini off the floor at one stage and go in search of one of the detached flares. Breaks one's heart...

But Dan and the Mini carried on: battered but unbowed!

Good on you Dan!

Ok, so it was my Mini that ran into the back of you, but that didn't do the damage. The shunt to the concrete floor was someone else.

It should be noted that Dan's Mini soldiered on and won a few heats after that. It must have had an unflare advantage, eh?

Cheers,

Fix done and ready to irritate the big sedans.

Love that fast setting two-part epoxy.

Good to see the days of the little Mini nipping at the heels of the bigger cars are not over. The Minis were absolute giant killers in their day. The ruled the roost on Mount Panorama for a few years.

Fabulous car. Great build. So good to see you letting her wear her battle scars with pride.

Immaculate shelf queens are nice, but a car that looks as if it's been hammered and still comes back for more.

Now that's really something!

Great little car.

Reminds me of what you see with the full size racers in the lower classes, bump/ cut out the damage, make the repair and get that baby back on the track! Nice to see!
