I used to use a Miller compressor and a pair of those cheapie single action brushes that Ember mentioned.
As with most things, now that I want to use them again I cant find the bloody box they are in, I think they might be in the roof of our house.
Anyway, I ended up getting another cheapie single action off EBay and a Paasche single action kit that has a couple of different needle sizes in it.
Dont need dual action for the basic stuff I want to be doing, and as Ember says the single actions are a snap to keep clean.
I also invested in a new compressor, $89 gets you a regulated compressor with a three litre tank and water trap, heaps better than my old Miller.
A bit over a hundred bucks for a spray booth as well.
I cant believe the price of this sort of stuff nowadays, you can get yourself a really good setup for a few hundred bucks.
The world has gone quite nutty.....
