Ryan, everyone finds something that works best for them. I run on Scalex Sport and find urethane tyres work well for me. I used to run on MJKs which are an Aussie product, but since dropping in here I've been converted to Paul's tyres. Everyone likes something different to suit their driving style. Some like more grip, some like less.
On the bare Scalex Sport track I found the XPG formulation from Paul was good and predictable. But since I've painted the plastic track the XPG is now a little too grippy and I've cut back to the standard ones.
