Talk about determination in getting that B Nova adapter in there! That step alone probably would make a world of difference in the car's handling.

I'm glad to see that you've kept the NC-2 in there. I had recently planned on swapping one out of a Mini but that car turned out to be too much fun to run with it, so it stayed stock.

So after all of that, does it still sound like a NInco? Mine are so loud that I'm sure my neighbors can hear them when they are on my track, but that's part of the Ninco charm/curse.

Thanks for pointing out the diameter differences between the NSR and Slot.it gears. That solves a mystery involving a different model that I've been stumped on. I'll have to give that a try.

Nice build article Harry. :handgestures-thumbup: Got me thinking about digging out my old Carrera Bentley and Audi (open cockpit) doing a upgrade to them. Had planned on doing them sometime. Think they may have moved up on the list. May be a good project just to get a break from the scratchbuilds for while. :lol:

No Goose, the charm (noise) is gone now :)

Arrow Slot is planning on releasing some this year. Good to see the car coming back. So those who want a car like this without the rebuild, it is coming.

Goose...I suppose not all the noise is gone. The plastic NINCO used in the bodies really resonate sound. I used some masking tape over the posts and this helps a little bit in taming it.

Great article, Harry! I got rid of mine because of the noise they make stock, gotta be one of the loudest cars out of the box, I've ever heard. I noticed you left the front axle in the stock set-up the 2nd time around. Did you find it performs better like this after the guide change?

I thought to leave it alone and test it.

Then just tonight I blocked it up. I honestly can tell much of a difference. But the guide change has a LOT to do with this.

With the guide fully seated in the slot, there is basically no vertical slop.
