Hi Dave;

I have been following this thread and learning all the variations of brass chassis. In one post you showed the body set over the chassis, you asked what we thought of the wider tires. I think the wider tires look fine, but it seems to me that they would look better if they were a smaller diameter, so the front and rear are the same. The width would not really show, but if you are using classic style inserts, it would look better with classic diameter wheels.

Just sharing my opinion.

Good decision on the wheels/tires, Dave. You have an opportunity for a really fine car, and it will look great with the period-correct wheels and tires.

Now that you've moved back to the narrower wheels can you move the wheels outward on the axles? Looks like you have the track set way too narrow both front and rear.

Good idea! I end up drilling a bunch of holes, then connecting the dots with a Xacto knife. Then sand down the rest.
