T/A 70' Camaro- Finished

Postby ListerStormGT » Fri Nov 08, 2013 10:16 am

Wanted to make a fantasy T/A 70' Camaro in a ice blue color. I found some Dupli-Color Avignon Blue Metallic (actually a Honda color) which worked perfectly and really highlights the lines of this car. Painted center of wheels in Gunmetal. Still need to get some number decals and finish it up but should make a nice addition to my T/A field when finished.

Gorgeous as usual, Lee. You sure are right about the color. Funny how that works. The body actually looks so good, I thought you had figured a way to soften the fenders and push them out. I try that every now and then, and it never comes out even.

Did that start as a Scaley white kit?

Nice work Lee. Almost a shame to see numbers added to break up those lines.

Very nice - what primer do you use with the Dupicolor?

Finally got this one finished up today. Door roundels are VRM decals, hood roundel and number is from the Revell/Monogram decal sheet. Sponsor decals from Slotcars4U. Really happy how this one turned out. The color really doesn't look as good in the pics as it does up close. Fits in nicely with the rest of my T/A field of cars.

Hi Lee!

Wow does that car look great!

It just looks right in that color!

Great choice in color.

If you ever want to part with that car consider it sold.

I would be proud to own it!!!!

Take care,

Wayne (Bolton's Speed Shop) :D :D :D
