Hi Patwa,
I have made a few changes based on running the cars. I bought the lap timer and discovered that the start-finish line section was not always catching the cars as they passed through because of the curve beforehand. So modified that end to put a longer straight in. This meant that the whole track approach needed to be changed because the straight needed to run partially under the inner curve, (cue Mark climbing under the table to unscrew all the pillars...).

Now the track starts to descend from the bridge area around to the back and the cars reliably trip the start finish sensor.
Also fixed the track down to the baseboards so that it can possibly be lifted against the wall. (It's supposed to as that's what the financial controller wanted  ).
This is what the whole track looks like now...

Still working on the barriers - putting them in where the cars collide with stuff or fall off!
The layout is about right - I may move the driver displays closer to the controllers.
Racing is great fun although me and my sons have yet to use all the features other than the lane changing. Its very cool to have all the lap counting and timing working - the lap record is with an unmodified Cheetah at about 7.2 seconds.
