Thanks for the nice comments. Finished up the 36, not real happy with the paint
it's a little darker than I wanted,but came out ok.
I really need to check for dust and dirt before I take the pictures oh well

Oh man! That is gorgeous! I love the entire combo and the headers and pipes are just so right!
I remember the 1977 AFX annual book had a section of cars guys had built. Some were similar to this. I attempted to hack up something to do one, but it did NOT turn out well...

Finally dug the Model A coupe that was sitting in the corner collecting dust.

Got something new in the works. Started with an old 55 Chevy and reworked it a little bit.
First we narrowed it a little bit
Then we shortened it a little bit
Then we moved the roof back some
After all that we put it all back together and the result is not to bad, after filling all the seams
and making a few more cuts on the body this is what we got so far
Still have a ways to go but it's a good start.

Work is coming along on the 55. Frame is almost done bumpers and cage are done,
driver is being worked on he still needs some work as he is a little to high.
Almost ready to go to the paint shop then we can finish work on the body.

Frame is finished and all painted up. Got the driver in
just working on some last minute fit problems with the
hood and body.
All that's left is to paint and decal the body and a little touch up.

The 55 is finished. After all the cutting,filling and sanding this is the end result
Color is Duplicolor Forest Green Pearl with Zinc Chromate on the chassis and cage.
Got one more Before and After
