Thanks for your comments all. I've had excellent material to work with in George Turner's kit and Peter's wheels (plus lots of encouragement from Peter, who is even more fanatical about the pre war cars than I).

That just looks phenomenal. Very nice detail work and a smooth coat all around. :clap:

I'm glad that you mentioned that Tamiya makes two greens near that shade. I almost bought Racing Green at my local hobby shop today, but decided to hold out for something else. Knowing now that they also make British Green, I'll keep my eyes peeled for that.

Love the finish on that exhaust....still some engine heat could ruin that too.

That radiator looks great!

Are you a surgeon or something? You must have real steady hands to paint details that well. I never could have pulled off painting that "MG" like that.

No, I've merely achieved inner peace. The MG is a scan of an MG badge, reduced in photoshop. It was punched in a perfect circle with a leather punch and covered in epoxy.
