Ive always wanted to build a Ford 1929 Ford roadster with a 1932 Ford hood & grille. Ive been getting keen for a while. Ive seen a few 1:1 1929 Fords with 1932 ford hoods & grilles & I have to say this combo is my favourite ford Hotrod by far. Just looks sweet. Anyway I found out a resin company called Replica & Miniatures of Maryland have this exact kit a a good price. I had heard some great comments about there resin casting is the best there is. So I ordered the kit & it recently arrived.
Man what a piece of work, artwork that is. Ive taken some pics of the body & this is straight out of the box with no cleanup. This is the sharpest, cleanest thinnest resin kit Ive seen. So thin Im not so sure it will be any good for a slot car.
Heres a quick pic of the body, pic does it no justice.

But what I wasnt expecting, which is the main reason Im showing this is all the warning that come with it. Im almost to scared to start this thing. This on the outside of the box -

This note was inside the box, on the lid of another small box the body was in -

So heres another note, that was on the inside. Im guessing this is a question for David the resin guru. What do you think of this note? Ive never painted my bodies inside & out. Can you warp a body by only painting one side? This is interesting & something Ive never really thought of. Comments please -

Included was also 2 sets of instructions of dos & donts. Quite amazing. As a whole this is probably up there with one of the best resin pieces Ive seen. Im a little nervous to start it but I will in the future.
