Yeah, pretty uninteresting -- especially at 100 mph at night...through the trees....in snow. Nothing but boredom when the cars get 5 feet off the ground, and when they're full-bore on loose dirt on a narrow road with a 300 foot drop-off on one side. ;)

Amazing racing, with some of the best (and bravest) drivers in the world!

Rico!!! Missed having the Oregon Trail for this year's WRP. Good to see you still flying the flag for Rallying though.

Anything but boring to watch. Some absolutely brilliant drivers running on imperfect roads. Awesome skills.

I figured out why it didn't sit level. It was the chassis, not the chassis itself but 2 components in the front end. I got to looking at it and it has bronze bushings in the front axle, but they were laid over on their sides. I thought they were spacers under the axle at first until I removed the front axle and seen them move. They look like Slot It. rear bushings. So I turned them the right way so I could put the axle through them then readjusted the set screws and it now sits level and all is well. :)

Any idea how the MSC cars compare to Scaley? I believe Scaley also make the Metro and the RS200 rally cars.

Their chassis reminds me somewhat of Slot It. HRS2, so it should work very well. I couldn't resist and ordered the Clarion livery this morning. Not much more than a Slot It. price. :)

Personally I would go for the the MSC over the Scaley - the chassis has a lot more setup options, the motor is a fairly hefty long can inline setup, the guide it better and the stance is great (nice and low). The only drawback (which applies to both brands) is it has plastic wheels. I know a few people mentioned the wheels fell of their Subaru - I change mine for metal wheels. The wheels on my metro seem fine but I will change them if I have to. I also think the finish on the bodies on the MSC is better than the Scalextric

I can appreciate a lot of power in a car as much as the next guy, but there's nothing like a lower-powered car that changes directions like a honeybee. Finally got the Mini running again today, and took her out for a couple shake-down cruises. Just confirms that small car feeling. :)
