Race Night

Postby jmsh54 » Tue May 14, 2013 7:21 pm

Well it will probably go through the week end. I have been working on building up a collection of week end racers from the 50s. All are built pretty much the same. Same gearing, NC1 type motors and urethane tires either from Dart Hobby or SCC. The motors are either NC1, BWA or Jack Rabbit. Two of the cars are running on BWA slim type motors but all are rated at 14,000rpm. Without much effort on my part all the cars weigh just about the same. Dumb luck. So I'm going to run 100 laps. 20 laps at a time, moving from the inside to the outside lane. Wife gone visiting the grandbaby and rest of the children down state, got my list of chores done, time on my hands, so it's off to the races in the basement. Interested to see how the different motors and tires work out. Regards, John

That looks like a lot of fun like the old time feel of the photo.
