A few months ago you threatened to race a Bentley Conti...is this still gonna happen Chris?

The beautiful Bentley is indeed still an option, among a few others.

Having a bit of a challenge to fit the control tyres I am using under the narrow body, but It is for sure still in the "running".



I have however been busy with my track, after almost a year of working on the new track, and due to a few delays (like hosting and organizing a proxy :D ) I finally finished the lifting mechanism and hoisted the track to my garage ceiling earlier this week....check with me next week to see if it is still against the ceiling!! :o (please YES!!)

I have got to finally get a hoist for may table so I can play pool again if I get the urge. It's been covered for 6 years now so its not a big urge. Considering buying a Viper to test against the Lambo.

I suspect it is going to be a long 4 months for me until the cars have to be in Chris's hands....

I have had a Sideways Huracan for some time now and it has just never been as good out of the box as the Sideways Group 5 cars. SO I had pretty much given up on it. In the mean time I have bought a Scaleauto Corvette as it looked to hold much promise. Put a Slot.it Sidewinder pod with a new ball bearing 25K motor in it and it was Not Good! Fidgety, relatively smooth until it all of a sudden breaks loose and then chatters: not a happy car. So I decided to try a different Slot.it pod with one of the new NSR motors. I have ordered the motors and now await delivery.

In the mean time I decided I could just as well put the sidewinder pod that I had now removed from the Corvette and put it in the Huracan: it couldn't be much worse, could it? So this week I installed the pod in the Huracan with the urethane tyres that I already had on the Huracan. Took it to the track last night and not bad, I must say.
