Well, it's saturday afternoon in Canberra. Last night the wife and I went to the movies and I haven't long arrived home from a nine hour shift driving a bus through the 'burbs.
Main project at the moment is getting a chassis under the 1/24 scale Revell re-released Austin-Healey model, hopefully tonight will see some progress done.
Beautiful autumn weather here so tomorrow we will drop the top on the Mazda MX-5 and take a run down to the coast.
Ken, I'd like to join the other guys and really hope everything goes OK.

This is a "postscript TGIF"; it's 0'darkthirty Sat AM and I'm at work. Friday was my day off but I ended up making a 12 hour round trip to Chilicothe, Ohio from NE Ind. My youngest has a Durango that ate a front tire and it's mate wasn't long for this world. I happened to have 2 matching Wranglers I bought and never used. Since money is even tighter for them than us, I threw the tires in the car and made the trip. Got home at 8:15 last night and since I had to get up at 3:00 this morning that pretty well shot the day off in the foot. One good thing, my new Caddy body from Chris (Cagee13) was in the mail so when I get time I'll start grinding and sanding on that.

Ken, speaking as a person who has spent too much time with sick loved ones, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Well, not really a TGIF for me but after working 7 day weeks with only 1 day off in the past 5 weeks I finally have a week off starting on Monday.
Oh there is so much to do or rather get caught up on, not even including slots. I do have plans to finish the Cuda stocker and get started on the 70' Camaro stocker.
It is just going to be nice to be able to have some time with the family and get caught up on all I have been missing.

I'm very happy to see those old Holdens in the host's pack of cars. I have two of those Patto's bodies, and I can never find a good photo to use for how I paint them. Were the older Holdens typically set up with the number far forward like that? If so, that's a good first step for me.
