Just seeing the assorted pictures of the cars so far this is going to be an awesome proxy event.The workmanship, and the colorful paint jobs, the "WOW" factor is off the charts!!

Well I don't have a dawg in this fight so to speak,but I got the chance to go over to Bibbsters Saturday.Man you folks are building some very nice rides.They all look great!Neat to see the different builds and chassis designs.Bibbster let me race his ride,very smooth.They run much better then I would have thought.Not top heavy at all and well balanced.Now I've got to try to build one........

I use acid to deeply etch the brass - I should probably do a post/tutorial on the method one day - They effect looks better in real life than in the pix I think...

Is that a replica of an actual racer?

I guess that is an EJ's or an original Offy midget ? with an extra exhaust pipe out the left side to make it into a flathead V8 midget... very cool.

Don's car is an original Monogram that he purchased as a kid back in the 60's. Way cool....
