I was asked by Quickcars to pass along some info on the No. 24 midget I entered for the proxy race. The body, driver, chassis, front tires, and the plastic pieces are all Monograms. The front & rear nerfs are made with 16 gauge copper handy wire. Comes in a 25 ft roll, purchased at our local Ace Hardware. The motor is a 13D can. The rear tires are made of urethane. A gentleman that races in our group molded the tires to the rim. The tires needed some sanding, but they work well on our wood tracks. The decals are from Vintage Racing Miniatures,

Monogram - X-88, Revell - SP-40, Cox - TTX-50, K & B, Cougar 1506, Eldon, XM-30, Kemtron, 1709, Auto Hobbies, AM-801, and Aristo-Craft. I don't have a part number for Aristo-Craft. I have some of this info on my web site. More info to come. Thanks to all who are keeping the midgets and this hobby alive. Good Luck to all in the proxy race. Hopefully more races in the future.
