Building a Chassis for a Sprint Car

I got a bit more done, I took bushings from an old carrera 1\32 axle and reamed them out to .125 and adding more brass rod I got the rear
bushings on the frame





The floor pan is .062 X 1.0 inch brass strip from K&S I had to cut the width down to .875 I used an X-Acto razor saw, it cut good and gave me a nice little strip for other stuff



I drilled out the motor mounts and bent with my pliers



I need to put on some body parts to see how to get the guide keel under it but its just about ready.

This was a lot easier than I thought, the tools I used are what most of us have in our box, give it a try :banana-rock:

Frame just about done, fitting all the plastic bits now

Those are H&R's with foamys, the wheels will be inserted and the foams will come off for some PG Urethanes
