1936 Dodge/1937 Ford Pickups

I seen these 10$ resin trucks on ebay along with some other cars that this guy had listed. So, I thought I would give the trucks a shot thinking they may make a descent street rod to have sitting on the track. And I will have to say they are pretty descent. Going to take a little grinding but all in all pretty smooth body wise not much work needs done. Came with some pretty thin material for glass. Should work fine. Not sure what to use for headlights. You all got any suggestions where I might get some or something I could make work would appreciate it. Have to come up with something for the interior also. Will probably be a while before I get to them as I got other painted bodies I need to get chassis under when I get a jig to start building. Thought I would share with you all on how they looked for 10 bones plus the shipping.

Okay, for the headlights, use Testors clear window glue, it dries crystal clear. That's easy and you can do it fast.

What ever shape for the bezel you use, get a good chrome surface for the headlights. The Molotov chrome pens make a good base, then when fully cured, the clear glue will make a great headlight. If you have trouble finding the post on HRW, I'll see about getting a "good enough" post for you.

What scale are they, look to be 1/32

Just a quick question about the headlights, couldn't you use a Bic pen cap, just a suggestion, that is the only cone shaped thing I could think of without seeing the model up close, not even sure it would be the right size.
