I know that car well. I have made a pile of resin copies of it.
Here is one that has been run hard and has the tires almost worn off. Angle winder chassis and this is one of my favorites to drive. You can tell just looking at it that it has been run a lot with lots of road rash.
The reason for me working on all the old Strombecker bodies lately was to have cars to run with this one. The Lotus did compete in the early Can Am races.
I actually was just about to start doing a Lotus 30 using one of my resin shells. Jim Clark drove one to 3rd place at Riverside.
