The guest fleet

Postby waaytoomuchintothis » Mon Feb 11, 2013 5:43 pm

Florida Slotter's post about the indestructibles from the Scaley Start line got me thinking about showing the "guest fleet" from my track. I have been putting together cars for folks to run safely at speed for a couple of years now. Some are Start cars, some are older used cars I spruced up and armor-coated inside with hot glue. Its been fun, and very cheap. Getting 3 at a time is the only hard part. I try to decorate them in red, white and yellow to match the lanes on my track when possible.

That's a cool idea. Way to go Rob. You did good. :) You know which one I would be running? The Fiat.

Those little Fiats are a party in a box. Just a few little common sense tweaks and they scoot around quite well. Coming out of a turn they whip their tails around, get a grip and take off. Oddly, from the beginning, the red one has always been faster than the yellow. I always said I would swap bodies to see if I'm imagining it. I need to find a 3rd one to paint white.
