This looks like the year that I add a bunch of Carrera's to the stable.

It's hard to explain why, but I'm pretty excited to see the new Carrera Lola in person. I'm not even a fan of Can-Am but that car just looks too cool to pass up.

Then there are of course the 904's. I'll have to see how much those sets are going for before getting too cranked up about them.

I'm sure I'll be grabbing a Mustang too.

I like the direction that Slot.it is going with their classics line, and it will be interesting to see what SRC does this year too, but when it comes to value for the money, nobody can touch Carrera right now.

Did anyone else notice the absence of NASCAR releases across all brands? Is this because of the European focus of the show or a shift away from NASCAR in general?

Only Carrera has a new repaint coming and that is classic. No modern releases other than the two they did early this year or Smoke and Newman.

Revell/Monogram has no plans at this time for new cars either....ANY cars, not just NASCAR.

Here's an add-on for my reserved excitement list- SCX is planning to release an Austin Healey, but there isn't much information associated with it yet. I'm hoping for a 100, but really anything cheaper than Ninco's version would be appreciated.

My fingers are definitely crossed on any forward movement for SCX. But, apparently we have to wait until late March to find out what the new company is going to do with them. I do hope the new company continues to release the cars that SCX are known and loved for. They've long been the best bang for buck in my book.

I hate Ninco prices, but I might have to have a Stratos. Not convinced I'll ever get the TeamSlot jigsaw puzzle together.

Is there any way we can collectively respond to Monogram to encourage them to proceed with their stock car (and even Can Am) offerings? They are too critical a contribution to my slot car enjoyment not to at least give it a try - faulty running gear or not, they are some of my most treasured cars, and favorite car types that I thought no one else would ever make.

I am really looking forward to the Slot-It McLaren should be so good & the Carrera DTMs also look pretty good I have been buying a few Carerra cars lately good value for money
