As we announced on October 19th, we have received permission from Dan Gurney's All American Racers (AAR) shop to build some selected models. Many suggestions came in via email when the agreement was announced and even Slotcar-Today speculated on the model we would build. We are not going to confirm or deny the Deltawing right now! We are very excited to announce the first of our AAR cars. The all conquering Eagle Mk III GTP car. This car dominated IMSA GTP in the USA 25 years ago this year . AAR achieved a 17 race win streak and a track record that stands to this day on the Daytona International road course. We are very proud to recreate one of Dan Gurney's proudest achievements. We will offer this car with an optional 3DP chassis that is made from the latest micro-carbon fiber nylon - with a carbon fiber inlay that makes the chassis stiffer than any 3DP chassis on the market and stiffer than most injected plastic chassis. It is the first chassis of it's kind and the latest in 3D technology.
Our first Mk III will be the 1993 IMSA Championship winning car of Juan Manual Fangio II that won at Lime Rock Park. It also has a magnetic rear wing mount to prevent damage and allow different rear wing configurations. We'll have more details on this car in the coming weeks. We hope to have kits on sale at select retailers before the end of the year.
