Our latest club track

Mike is one of our club members, he has decided to put away his train to make room for a wood track. Both are modular so he can have the best of two hobbies.

The wood track is four sheets of 1/2" MDF, CNC routed...





Mike is a retired airline pilot, so this was a natural paint choice...

Abandoned airstrip? No way. I am going to find Mike a toy jumbo jet to hang about the middle of the runway, a foot off the deck. Good thing those little plastic drivers don't scare easily.

I can't wait until the open house on Saturday to get a chance to turn some laps.

Yes Bob (Rleog) this track is already on the list for the Targa 2 proxy. It will replace the Cobalt Causeway, which has unfortunately, for us, been sold and moved to Grindrod, BC.

I really like the air field idea. It looks cool and authentic. I also like your shop/man cave. Looks like a place a guy could loose himself in for hours at a time. Well done. Thanks for sharing. Would love to see a video of some racing action some time.

Very nice... Love the Threshold Marks... Is your table lined up to Magnetic North too? Make sure you put a tire barrier around your PAPI.... And yes, that's one serious hobby room!!
