So the complete cage itself 'floats' and 'rattles'? - That should be a good design for getting around the track...

Is the small tongue just behind the guide holder used to secure the front of the chassis in place.

gonegonzo I added two tabs on the rear side of the chassis pan to give the rear of the frame support, also the axles will help keep the frame in place too... chappy yes the front tab keeps the frame in place and also limits the frame from moving to far forward...

Nice paint scheme - very bold - really captures the spirit of the present day midget racer.

I think this would be a great class - would be good to see a field of these working the track!

Really appreciate the full brass cage plus that mounting system. Great job - pop in some wheel inserts to complete the look - maybe go with a shorter length rear axle - but yeah - GREAT Build!
