Very well to be honest. It does run smooth in and out of corners.
I can set the wheels with the screws up and after going round just 1 corner they screws don't line up any more.
The diff makes the 4WD work so much better.

Nice, I like that 2 pinion diff. I'd bet it would even work noticeably better in just the two wheel drive mode.

WOW! That is a very cool build! I like both the one off differential (I had looked at trying to retrofit something from the RC world a while back) and then tying it to independent front axles as well is pretty darn slick!

I for one enjoy uncharted territory.

On my large list of things to do is to change the Flat-6 motor in my Slot.It Audi R-18 e-tron quattro to a Flat-6 RS, which is a 25,000 rpm motor with 240 grams/cm of torque. With the all wheel drive I'm hoping to get the car to come out of a corner hard, very hard.

What an excellent work...

May I summarize the working principle, to see if I understood it ?

Seen from rear :
- The left crown is simply screwed on the axle
- The right crown is fixed on the drive pulley and both are fixed on the hub
- This hub runs freely on the axle.
- The FAAS gear runs freely on the axle.
- There are three pinions installed.

If I am right, one final question - how did you fix the pinions in the gear ? Did you solder in their tiny shaft protrusions ? Or did you use the old trick with hammer and center punch ?
