First pop turned out too skimpy on the sills, so I'll fix and build this into an alternative oval racer body for my 55 Chevy's adjustable wheelbase chassis. The mock fit bodes well.

Got lots of better bodies for road race versions.

Body's mounted.

Needs some minor rear wheel arch re-radiusing. Stance works for me.

Went with PCS chassis for this first one.

Primer's next.

In spite of the fact that Sportsman cars seem out of place on the Targa, and we don't have an oval, yet, I am thinking we need that class for racing at GVSCC, eh?

I have a couple, you, Luf and Don have at least one each, so the rest could run whatever against us, and be prepared to be bumped off the track, haha.

Looking good, Dan. Is one of those bodies for me?

Cheers,

Keith

Tamiya white primer's on. Made some resin inserts from modified Monogram 55 Chevy model wheels.

Still deciding on a final color.

Got some Vallejo Sky Blue onto the body and rims. Went to friend's place to air brush for the first time.

He noticed me struggling and ended up pretty much doing it. Thanks Mike.

Paint details, decalling and interior tray to go.

This is looking great. I found this photo, it's a Chevy, but I like the idea.

Man, you've got us all panting for them! I've already planned my paint job. If it gets here fast enough, I'll build one for the Showdown.

Paint details and decalling (1/24 Ultracal Dirt track) done.

Just interior tray and window treatment left. I like Harry's 55 Chevy example so will follow suit. Think I need a carb air filter assembly in the hood, too.
