The chassis is made from 0.047 music wire; flat brass pieces are 3/32' thickness. Rear has 3/16' oilites, while the front axle runs in 1/8' brass tubing. The gears are Slot.it 16mm aluminum anglewinder gears (29/10). Slot.it axles. TSRF guide. Wheels at the moment are Slot.it 17 x 8.2 shorthub. Have CB Design 17 x 8 and 17 x 10 LMP wheels on order. Tires for the new wheels will be Paul Gage 20125LM for the rear and Slot.it 19 x 10 zero friction tires for the front.
I shake when I solder so please excuse the excess solder. The chassis works very well without the body (on order). Hopefully it will work fine with the body.

A post a while back was wondering about getting the motor close enough to the rear axle tube where they didn't have to use 19 mm gears on a SW chassis. The rear axle tube for SW has to have a piece the width of the motor removed with just enough left on the ends for bearings or oilites. The AW only needs a notch at the gear end of the axle tube.
