Chassis's rolling. Power's a Plafit Cheetah with a Professor Motor 9t pinion and Slot It 27t crown driving Slot It 15 x 8 aluminum rear rims. The tires are PG urethanes in size 22125. Fronts are plastic Slot It 15 x 8 with their silicone tires. Guide is TSRF with the thick braid.

Body mounting posts are 7/32" Evergreen styrene tube with 4-40 brass screw inserts epoxied into position. Interior tray was trimmed at the front to clear the front post, the middle to avoid the motor and the rear to stay away from the tires.

Slot It GT40 wheel inserts seemed appropriate.

Not much body valence trimming, front and rear, was needed to fit the chassis.

Cosmetically, I just painted the driver figure. I'd usually do more but like this simple vintage look.
At 99g, it's got a nice planted feel on the track.
Good outcome for a body that probably sat in a box for 40 years or more.
