Wow! I never thought I would see someone make a Triumph Herald slot car. Great idea.
I too used to race Spitfires, in G and H Prod.

Wow! I didn't think there would be as much interest in this build. Glad you all are interested! I will keep you updated. I do want to do a two tone paint, not sure if I will do it factory style or my own. There was so much cutting and grinding on the chassis, body, and especially the interior.

My 1:1 was a creamy white, and a friend had a british racing green with a sage stripe along the sides.

A friend had one with metallic maroon and cream or ivory as the colors.

There were a few of these in London, Ontario when I was a kid. They were all white or light blue. Only one of them was a convertible (actually, no top at all, the fabric was long gone), and it belonged to a teenager down the street from me. It was white. And rusty. And the object of my envy. I wanted that old rusty junker so much, when I was 14.
