Well it's 1pm here now.
I did really well.
A Falcon hardtop slotcar thats still somewhere between here and England.

Books - The History of Formula 1, a book about Fighter planes , and a biography about a navy seal called the red circle.
Genuine Zippo Lighter.
and a very cool 1800's Brass Miners Lamp from Wales, with a hell of a story.
My son cooked a big breakfast and we all sat down for that as a family, it was already 42 degrees by 11am so lunch was never happening.

Good Xmas I think. Now it's siesta time.

We have had a very quiet day up here in Hillbilly land...

Tomorrow we head up to the Beach house for a few days, my Step-Daughter and her feller arrived there (from Townsville) yesterday. She assured Chrissy this morning on the phone that its great "Tank Battle" weather....

...The scene is set, a five way tank battle bonanza where their can only be one winner :)

The favourite for shoot out is resident tank ace Jake with his Abrahms, he is a bit of a freak with it.

Will post results and pics in the Benchracers lounge...

Merry Christmas everyone! Santa bought me the two Carrera Cobras plus a couple of books, 'Nissan GT-R Born to Race' and second part of the history of Liverpool City Raceway which was just about my second home from the mid '70's till the early '80's.
We had a great day, our daughter is having Christmas in the U.S. so talked to her early and then my wife, son and her dad sat down for lunch at 12.00 and finished up at 6.00. Lots of food, lots of beer and lots of laughs. Weather was very hot last couple of days but today was 22c/70f and now 12c/52f. Fantastic!
