Exactly what he said! That E looks just great! Pretty little car there, that's for sure.

I'm changing the livery on my Chaparral Mk 1 entry. I was going to go with the #66 livery; Jim Hall's car. But, I started reading today about his partner in Chaparral, Hap Sharp, and I saw a lot of things that I liked. Jim's still with us, but Hap had some medical issues and watches from the sidelines now.

So, I'm doing this Chaparral Mk1, Troutman & Barnes body, in Hap's first livery; the #10 car. It's feeling good and I'll have some pics of it in the next few days.

Neat Jag Dave. Just remember team orders and come in behind Jag # 63.

Team orders should be based on which cars arrived first, eh?
So that makes the Bluesome Twosome the captains of the Jag and Porsche teams!

Woohoo!

Cheers,

Hmmm, do I sense some dissention among the "big cats"? Could be the pressure of the impending qualification run, I suppose...................

Meanwhile, here at "Ferraparral", everything is cool and smooth....................... :banana-dance:

An affinity of some sort for the car, its lineage, or the people involved with it really helps with the heart that goes into the build.

I think it's essential. That's why I don't purchase the fastest cars out of the box, but instead try to make the cars that I have a special attachment to, go as fast as they can. I think most everyone on this forum is like that.

If it's Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, BMW, Ferrari, Maserati, Alfa Romeo or Chevy, then I'm on it! :banana-dance: Let's see........did I leave any marques out..............?

More progress on the Team Chappy entries!

Doing the painting on the helmets now and then it is on to finish off the chassis for test and tune this Wednesday!
They may not be the fastest/best handling cars in the group - but I have been having fun getting these vintage bodies back into racing shape again! :D

Todd, if they run anywhere near as good as the bodies look, then you'll be on top of the heap for this fun run ! Great looking builds so far, and all from old cars that probably would not have seen the light of day again if it was not for this race series.
