Great video Harry , just loved it, all these little touches are what makes this so much fun.
They really are a great looking group of cars.
Hard to believe the little yellow fella is where it is just by a hair though.
But you know they say things always run best just before they explode lol.

What a great race. Most of these cars could have pulled off a win in the right hands and each one is a winner in my eyes.

Looking at this field should motivate anyone.


From the homegrown bodies to the unique chassis designs, these folks created truly fantastic slot cars that are the epitome of true modeling in our hobby.

Thanks again for the racing guys! This Proxy has kind of refreshed my interest. I am a bit bummed out with FedEx screwing up two of my cars built for another proxy. They're in Greece and because FED EX screwed up Greece put a $300 tariff on them, won't release them, and Fedex won't help unless I start an account and pay them just about as much to get my own cars back! So now they consider them "abandoned"! I will never use FEDEX again for anything!

This Proxy was the most fun build I've done in years. I can't even think of a change I'd make for next year. maybe a gear tooth or two...

Next year: Plans are afoot for a Paul Deasey "Big Donkey" 427 Ford SOHC powered car. or perhaps a Shampine 8 ball Coupe. Anyone remember what body make Deasy ran? I know he ran both coupe and coach bodies at various times. Shampines was a Chevy Coupe with a 427 Ford (from the period) as I recall.
