Santa is a busy guy early this year!

Postby ListerStormGT » Fri Dec 21, 2012 11:13 pm

I arrive home tonight after work to find a package waiting for me from HRW Santa...Wait a minute I am thinking, we didn't do a HRW Santa this year. I open the box to find a letter and a wrapped gift inside. The letter in itself was written by the work of a genius but I must say it was quite comical as only Harry could do it. Apparently Jim Troye (HRWJim) and Harry devised a plan to surprise me with a gift for Christmas which they were very successful at accomplishing! The letter also mentioned another famous racer on the board here that we all know as Dickie from SCC got his hands in this gift also. These guy's together gave me one of the new Carrera 289 Cobra's, oh but this isn't just your everyday stock Cobra. Oh no, this is a technical tuned piece of machinery, from the SCC insert wheels, B-Nova guide, Mark's MT motor and every piece of super tuned part you can fit into this thing! Jim, Dickie and Harry, I LOVE this car and what you guy's did here for me. Thank you all very much I am just blown away with this! It is things like this and the people on this board that make HRW the special place it is for all of us. Thank you again guy's. and yes you got me this time!

Hehehe...yeah! That is what you get Mister Smokey!

You are welcome. Jim had the plan, and for Dickie to donate was just cool. I'll bet Steve at SCC will want to double his salary.

Glad you liked it. I posted the build article since you got it in :)

Looks right at home. Merry Christmas!

Being the Christmas season, it just does my heart good to see the Golden Rule is still so true today.

Do unto others as you would have others do unto you!

An act of kindness will always be rewarded in one way or another. I'm so glad to see it in use! Thanks for sharing.

Your welcome Lee. It is very cool that Dickie wanted to help. Thanks to Harry too for the work done on the car. I am glad you like it. Harry's right it looks good on your track. Jim
