Ok arrold todd and shotgun have signed up to host these cars. I know dave is in cali todd is in ohio i think. Where are you arrold? Trying to plan a route here :)

I quit watching when the Strangebrew wheel came off. I was worried that would happen. It slows down because the wheel comes loose
& the axle spins on that side, it becomes 1 wheel drive. My homemade cast wheels should be on a 1/8 axle instead of the smaller one.
The larger set screw doesn't grab the smaller axle well enough. I didn't have time to rebuild with larger axles. :violin: :violin:
I have 4 tapped holes in the wheel in case a set screw strips. I put super glue on the axle & hoped for the best.
LESSON LEARNED. MAYBE NEXT YEAR

Thanks again for getting this series kicked off!
Definitely had a lot of fun building the car and look forward to running them when they rotate here to Ohio!

It would be great if we can get a couple additional tracks involved as well (possible run at BTaylor's track, HRW head quarters, Turbokev, etc) - may not hurt to drop them each a PM to see if they would be interested in joining the fun/hostingl?

I will work at getting a Google Docs spreadsheet set up to keep a summary going for the racing action and will add track pictures to go with the data.
(if you can send me a link to a shot of your track to use, I would appreciate it.) :)
