Mod Wars tidbit's

Postby btaylor » Sat May 02, 2015 7:07 pm

Ran two of the other lanes today, and what a hoot it was! Had a few hilarious mishaps, nothing major but a bit odd. Had a driver literally fly out the passenger side window and land on the track. This was by centrifugal force I guess, as there was no crash. Easy fix.Image
A new track record was established today also! There has never been even a magnet car run a sub three second run in lane five!Image
Chappy's car ended up short of the line at the time buzzer by only inches of getting in one more lap.Image
There are more, and I will get more up tomorrow, also have to get the results posted. Some upsets in the outer sweeper lanes where some of the cars really stood out!
Till then

Way to go, Chappy! Maybe it runs faster without the driver.............................!

Maybe if you hung some fuzzy dice from the rear view mirror, you could turn a 2.8 I lane 5! ;)

Way cool!

I'd love to take credit Allan, but I think thats Big Daves car with the ejector seat and the 2.8 sec laps.
Mine is a bit more on the Old Yeller and yes still coming up short, or as Maxwell Smart would say
Missed by That. Much.lol

Bob, Your little yellow bomb was my favorite car to drive. It was very predictable, and would come out strong from the corners. It is smooth and quiet too. Not a thing wrong with your car in my book! Wait till it gets on those big smooth wood tracks, your going to see some laps then I bet.Image
