Dave, that looks like a P-40N canopy.....wonder if the model company was saving money on molds? Looks good so far. If you ever saw "The Lively Set", I vote for yellow!

Good call, Sarge. I spotted that back in 1960 when I built that model. It happened I had a P-40 handy to check. The model was Alky Saltzer. There were three others in the series. Two were salt flats streamliners, two were silly looking attempts to sell the same bodies as street cars.

Pretty slick Dave!
Should make for a darn sporty Class B car!

It will be interesting to see what type of speeds these cars get to as I know that we are seeing upper 30's consistently, with the occasional trip into the low 40's with our Womp based Spec Drag cars! :D
